The A-ISOMETER ® iso-F1 monitors the insulation impedance between the active conductors in an electric drive system (Un = DC 0…800 V) and the measurement earth (vehicle earth). Using the patented measurement technique, the insulation impedance on the DC and AC side in an electric vehicle with a drive system is monitored and insulation faults reliably signalled, even with the high levels of interference that can be caused by motor control processes. Due to the small space required and the optimised measurement technology, the device is ideally suited to use in electric vehicles and meets the elevated requirements for a very wide range of environmental conditions (e.g. temperatures, vibration, etc.).
